The answer is more simple than you think. It is basically a barcode, just like you would see on the back of any item you buy at the grocery store or your favorite retailer. The biggest difference, besides the fact that they look entirely different than the barcodes we are used to seeing, is that they are able to be scanned by just about any smart phone or mobile device with a camera – you do not need to carry around a laser gun like the cashier at the supermarket. All you need is one of the free barcode readers that can be downloaded directly from your smart phone or computer. Once you have the barcode reader on your phone, all you have to do is open it and point your smartphone at the code. That is it. Within moments you will receive data about the product, a personal message, a link to a website, or any information the publisher would like to share with you.
But what does it have to do with Albuquerque Real Estate? I have attached two of my own QR Codes that I think might be helpful for you. The first is for iPhone users. I have my own personal iPhone App, available in Apple’s App Store, that will allow you to shop for homes directly from your iPhone. With your phone’s built in GPS, you can actually drive by a home you like, stop in front of it, open my iPhone App, and like magic see all the details about that home including photos and price. This QR Code will take you directly to the App Store where you can download my App for FREE. The second QR Code brings you directly to my website and allows you to easily bookmark my page, read my blog, search for homes, contact me, refer me to a friend, or just leave me a friendly note.
