Welcome to Q Realty’s May 2015 Albuquerque Real Estate Market Update. Q Realty, Inc. thought you’d find this information helpful and is ready to answer any questions you may have about the Albuquerque, New Mexico real estate market.

In May, the number of Active listings  was down 27% from May 2014 and down 5% from April.  This means that Albuquerque homebuyers had fewer homes to choose from than they did one year ago and the nice homes were selling fast!  The median listing price for Albuquerque homes in May was $237,500 compared to $203,900 in May 2014. Compared to 2014, the average Days on Market (DOM) to sell an Albuquerque home remained the same at 59 Days on Market. The median sales price for Albuquerque Homes was $188,900, compared to $183,700 in April  and $182,500 in May  2014. The number of homes sold in Albuquerque increased 14% year over year and increased 7% from April.

Welcome to Q Realty’s February Albuquerque Real Estate Market Update. Q Realty, Inc. thought you’d find this information helpful and is ready to answer any questions you may have about the Albuquerque, New Mexico real estate market.

In February, the number of Active listings was down 14% from February 2014 and down 7% from January. This means that Albuquerque homebuyers had fewer homes to choose from than they did one year ago and the nice homes were selling fast! The median listing price for Albuquerque homes in February was $215,000 compared to $196,700 in February 2014. Compared to 2014, the average Days on Market (DOM) to sell an Albuquerque home was down 9% to 71 Days on Market. The median sales price for Albuquerque Homes was $174,900, compared to $175,000 in January and $172,900 in February 2014. The number of homes sold in Albuquerque increased 7% year over year and increased 9% from January.

In January, the number of Active listings was down 11% from January 2014 and down 7% from December. This means that Albuquerque homebuyers had fewer homes to choose from than they did one year ago and the nice homes were selling fast! The median listing price for Albuquerque homes in January was $209,000 compared to $192,500 in January 2014. Compared to 2014, the average Days on Market (DOM) to sell an Albuquerque home was up 3% to 77 Days on Market. The median sales price for Albuquerque Homes was $175,000, compared to $180,000 in December and $174,900 in January 2014. The number of homes sold in Albuquerque increased 7% year over year and decreased 23% from December.

Compared to 2013, the average Days on Market (DOM) to sell an Albuquerque home was down 1% to 67 Days on Market. The median sales price for Albuquerque Homes was $180,000, compared to $175,000 in November and $189,000 in December 2013. The number of homes sold in Albuquerque increased 2% year over year and increased 7% from November.

In August, the number of Active listings in Albuquerque was up 3% from 2012 and down 3% from August of 2013. This means that Albuquerque buyers enjoyed a greater selection of homes than they did one year ago. The median listing price for August was $200,000 compared to $192,000 in 2012. Compared to 2012, the average Days on Market (DOM) to sell a home was down 5% to 57 Days on Market, which may signal a positive trend in the local inventory turnover rate. The median sales price for Albuquerque Homes was $180,000, compared to $166,000 in 2012. The number of homes sold in Albuquerque increased 18% year over year, but decreased 8% month over month – Higher year over year figures indicated that more Albuquerque buyers are finding what they’re looking for.
