One of Q Realty’s favorite ways to get to know Albuquerque Builders, their quality of work, attention to detail, their “bedside manner” when working with our customers is to visit the annual Parade of Homes. Below is some information about the parade, its builders, prices, maps, and more. Please take some time to visit these exquisite homes and call Q Realty, Inc at (505)750-0059 if you have any questions or need help finding land when you fall in love with a particular builder or model. Have a WONDERFUL weekend.
A slew of Albuquerque area homebuilders have been preparing for one of the industry’s biggest marketing events which kicks off this weekend. The 2013 Parade of Homes event runs this weekend and next and features homes by 39 homebuilders.
“Given the fact that this is the 24th year we’ve offered a Parade of Homes to the Albuquerque public, and with all their out-of-town guests here for the Balloon Fiesta, we have become a bit of an institution,” said Jim Folkman. Folkman is the outgoing head of the Home Builders Association of Central New Mexico — the group that organizes the event.
“There is no better way to see the latest innovations, products and new architectural designs in home construction and remodeling,” he said. Folkman said this year marks the largest number of entries and builders since the housing downturn of 2008 and 2009.
One of the 39 builders is Twilight Homes, which is featuring its Tribeca series at the Mesa del Sol master planned community in south Albuquerque. It is an urban, single-story home, with 1,770-square-feet for $279,990. “Tribeca is indicative of a home that fits the Mesa del Sol lifestyle — a bit edgy, a bit of luxury, a home connected to its environment,” said David Newell, the director of residential development for Mesa del Sol.
Folkman said the self-guided tour is designed to feature homes in a wide range of prices, locations and designs.
