Three things to keep in mind if you have a vacant home for sale in Albuquerque and other markets: 1) Be sure to have the right insurance. Some insurance company’s DO NOT insure vacant homes. Check with your carrier to see what policies, if any they provide. 2) Some area’s are higher risk than others. Check with your local police department to see if your property is in a high risk area, and if so, let them know that your home is for sale and vacant. They should increase patrol in your area. 3) Consider a “Care Taker”. There are several private companies that can provide this service at no charge to the owner. Having someone in your home reduces risk of loss, and can make your home more presentable to buyers.
We are happy to help you with any of these matters.
